Tips for completing Bid review spreadsheets!

For brand new delegations/individuals who are leading their delegations, here are a few tips when conducting bid review with your delegation before RBC:

  • Find a day and time that your delegation can meet and go over bid spreadsheets. If there isn't a time that your delegation can meet, try to at least have your boardroom representatives (NRHH, Presidents, and NCCs) meet and work on the bid spreadsheet!

  • When making discussion points and pros/cons, its always good to have a few of each, so have an opportunity to voice your institutions thoughts during boardroom.

  • Make sure your statements are equitable! If you have doubts on whether a statement is equitable, a good rule of thumb is to just reword and play it safe. If you have questions on equitability and whether someone is equitable or not, feel free to reach out to anyone from the RBD!

  • When writing discussion points, instead of saying "I believe that blah blah blah", say "your institution believes that blah blah blah", you are representing your school's thoughts, not yours.

Please reach out to the CO for Bidding and NCC Support, Priscila Chapa, at sw_bidding@nacurh.org if you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding the bidding process. Happy bidding!
